Me too, but judging from the recent poll that said 60% of the public DON’T have faith in the media, I’d say he’s got a chance.

I know this might be a bit blasphemous here, but the more I’ve seen of Romney, the more I like him. I realize there are problems with his positions (past and present!) but he seems like a very nice, kindly, down-to-earth fellow who is not in love with himself as so many pols are. And he seems to know the difference between actually getting something done and blowing smoke.

And Paul Ryan is just wonderful. He reminds me of my own father as a young man. He’s got those same Irish looks, that same strong Catholic faith, and the same calm, optimistic but realistic attitude.

These are two good men, I hope they prevail.

I could not agree with you more. There is nothing new here, the media always gives the R the roughing up, and lets the D (no matter who it is) skate on by.

I myself think Romney is very Presidential, and I think lots of folks do, and that is going to make the media rake him over the coals even more. After he’s elected, it will get even worse. The media folks’ heads will spin every time they have to talk to him, or report on him. They will all be foaming at the mouth before his 8 years are up.

I’m surprised at the conclusion these folks came to.

Mitt Romney is about as close to defeating President Barack Obama as any Republican could have hoped to be.

That's an interesting statement from Breitbart. It infers that any of the other Republican candidates this year (Gingrich, Santorum, Perry, etc.) would not be doing so well against Obama.

It's a controversial statement given that many of us lament that Romney got the nomination over the others. However, I have to concede that had Gingrich or somebody else gotten the nomination, we would have a tougher road ahead of us to unseat Obama. It pains me to say it but I believe it is true. Gingrich especially. Women would be abandoning the GOP in droves if Gingrich was our nominee. Fair or not, something about the multiple divorces, the infidelity on the part of Newt with his previous wives, and the ice-cold current trophy wife Callista, just turns a lot of women off.

I was yelling at the TV telling Wallace to “SHUT THE FRACK UP!!!, AND LET THE MAN SPEAK.” He also was trying to fill Ryan’s mouth with Wallace words. I was disgusted with Wallace.

As usual at the round table later Laura Ingraham was speaking, and Juan Williams interrupted her only to have Wallace turn the floor over to the turd effectively ending Lauras participation on the topic of the moment. Laura might as well have not been there.

Really ticked me off.

It was President Romney, not Obama, who reacted swiftly to the attacks on our embassies by standing up for American freedom.

I'm not sure about this.

Sure, he stood up and said the emperor has no clothes. But he didn't sell it. He didn't keep on it.

What was the next thing he said about Benghazi, or Cairo?

And when?

I didn't hear anything for a week.

He should sell it more.
