The DNC needs to teach their boy, Chippy, how to “shop for judges”. LOL!
Or, if we had rational honest reporters, Leftist attempt at Judicial Terrorism against Palin dismissed as completely baseless
Thank God Alaska still has some judges rather then politicians in robes left.
now if we could just get that “loser pays” tort reform in place a lot of this silliness will go away.
I wonder how much this ludicrous, frivolous lawsuit cost the Palin family directly out-of-pocket. They were averaging roughly $50,000 each, the last I remember. And, towards the end of Palin’s governorship, these baseless lawsuits were being filed roughly once a week... all carefully calculated to bankrupt her and drive her from office. The lovely media kept up a drumbeat of “ethics charges against Palin” headlines, as well, designed to imprint the notion that she was the most corrupt politician living. Talk about being boxed in from all sides (and none in the damned GOP leadership spoke up or lifted a finger to help her). Still burns me the hell up.
Sarah Palin. Taking up residence in lefty heads 24/7/365.
God bless you, Sarah.
Pro-America, Pro-Life, Pro Traditional Family, Pro-Christian and Pro-Capitalist. These qualities threaten the very fabric of leftism in America and the World today. I think she's a great lady. JMHO.
And people still argue that she quit halfway without considering the reasons...
Yep, some people are just EVIL.

No free-speech issue: Judge tosses lawsuit targeting Sarah Palin
By Kim Murphy

It was a case of turning lemonade into lemons -- Sarah Palin-style, contends a self-described citizen lobbyist.
Chip Thoma, a longtime Alaska activist, said the former Alaska governor ordered her staff to destroy his reputation after he complained about the large number of tour buses driving by for a peek at the governors mansion.
Palin, he said in a federal court lawsuit, saw an opportunity to portray herself as a victim of his traffic complaints. She directed her staff to put out the word that Thoma was not only trying to drive her out of the governors mansion, the lawsuit contended, but had stooped to criticizing her daughter Pipers lemonade stand -- a dagger Thoma insists he never threw.
The former governors real motive, he said, was to use him to explain why she was spending so much time away from Juneau; critics had suggested she shouldnt be collecting per diem pay for living at her home in Wasilla, Alaska.
Though Thoma cited quotes purporting to be from Palins own emails to back up his story, a federal judge threw out his lawsuit on Thursday, ruling that the quotes werent admissible, and that Thomas 1st Amendment rights to free speech werent violated.
Thoma chose to engage on a public issue, and although Thoma believes that he was insulted in response, this does not necessarily rise to the level of a constitutional violation, U.S. District Judge Timothy M. Burgess said in his order. Thoma remained free to express his opinion on the traffic issue -- he simply decided not to.

You realize that this lawsuit was filed 1-2 years AFTER she quit......
..... after she quit.
You know that right?
It was another frivolous lawsuit filed against her in regards to something that allegedly took place while she was Governor. You do understand what a lawsuit is, don't you, faux conservative? Do you understand what harassment is?
.... not while she was governor....
AFTER she was governor and WHILE she was a multi millionaire media star.
You know that.
Right?
Just how dumb are you, faux conservative?

Last week, U.S. District Judge Timothy Burgess struck down claims brought by activist Chip Thoma, who alleged that Palin acted to silence him for complaining about traffic around the governor's mansion in 2009.
It wasn't immediately clear what those costs would total. A private attorney and an attorney for the state were involved in the case on Palin's behalf.
.... aren’t all Republican governors sued like this?
But she is the only one who quit.
BTW, this lawsuit was brought AFTER she quit. Correct? After.... So it was not a reason she quit..... right?
They are? Prove it. Post the numbers. The lawsuit was filed for an alleged occurrence when Palin was Governor. The harassment kept up even after she resigned, faux conservative.
Do you know the meaning of frivolous? Do you know the meaning of harassment?
How many lawsuits were filed against Palin while she was governor?
I’ll wait patiently for your answer.
I already posted links to lawsuits against Governor Scott Walker, Governor Rick Scott and my own Governor Rick Snyder.
I agree.....All frivolous....
They didn’t quit. What’s your point?
