I think Romney should go on offense. Campaign almost exclusively in the blue states place like PA, MI, WI, IA, MN, DE, MD, NJ, CT, ME,NM, OR etc...

RR carried all of those states. They are not cemented to theDems. It is this crazy red state/blue state mentality which keeps the GOP on defense all of the time.

Romney needs start talking about what he will do, how he will change things. Reform our insane tax code, reform out of control entitlements, block grant programs like Food Stamps and Medicaid back to the states, repeal Obamacare and replace it with health savings accounts, and allowing health insurance to be purchased across state lines, put people back to work drill baby drill, offshore and on public lands and in ANWR, build the damn pipeline, etc.

I could go and on. He has nothing to lose. If I were advising the campaign, I would say go on OFFENSE campaign in the blue states, throw the Dems off, and tell what your’re going to do once in office.

The voters have already decided Obama’s policies suck. But they are not going to vote for change this year unless they know what that change is going to be.

Sounds like a decent idea! What states is he running ads in? All the ads I have seen in SC are Obama ads.

Excellent idea actually. Bypass the typical "battleground" states and focus instead on the next tier - the "light blue" states. Focusing on those normally blue states will definitely unnerve the Obama campaign and it will have the effect of pulling the typical battleground states into the red as well.

Good battlefield tactics. Why nibble around at the edges when you can get aggressive and go for the whole enchilada. It's like Patton simply going around the Maginot line and flooding enemy territory with tanks and troops instead of trying to bust through it. Once Patton was through, holding the Maginot line became pointless and it quickly evaporated.

Romney needs to act like a winner. Start telling the country what he will do WHEN he is elected, not IF. Make the case that his election is a fait accompli.
