The end of Bo’s political career, and possibly his own life.
It won’t ease the widespread ‘dissatisfaction’ of the peasants. Trouble times ahead in Red China.
The usual recipe to cook up an international incident (cough, disputed island, cough) to shore up nationalism is well underway.

The one thing the CCP will not tolerate is a cult of personality developing around one man. Chinese history has provided far too many bad examples of what an emperor/dictator will do once he gains power. Add in Bo's Maoist views and the shady characters surrounding him and he was a man that had to be taken out.
But he had a lot of supporters - and it remains to be seen if they are a sufficient force to have any impact on the leadership change next month. I think they are not.

China seals Bo's fate ahead of November 8 leadership congress And there I thought they were going to cook up Zero's dog.
