I’ve read enough police interrogation transcripts to be familer with the tactic of including an “unknown detail” in a leading question and then claiming the detail came from the witness when he answered. “Did he say anything about attacking her with a screwdriver?.” “That’s just what he was talking about”. “Aha, he knew she was attacked with a screwdriver and we never released that detail.”

Aha, he knew she was attacked with a screwdriver and we never released that detail.Yeah, I'm sure you have. But, no prosecutor would dare take take this extremely-high-profile case to trial with "evidence" so easily rendered worthless by the defense.
