What in the hell is going on here? She can sit through Ahmanutjob’s speech(breaking decades of US protocol to walk out) and then doesn’t go to Netanyahu’s speech??

There is a very wicked undercurrent going on in our government right now.

Susan Rice blew off Netanyahu UN speech
Thomas Lifson

Our UN ambassador, last heard from selling the lie that Benghazi was a spontaneous response to an internet video on 5 Sunday shows, was simply too busy to honor the Prime Minister of Israel’s speech to the UN General Assembly with her attendance. This body language amplified Obama’s snub of Netanyahu when both men were at the UN, communicating a clear message to the mullahs in Tehran and the rest of the world: The US is backing away from its relationship to Israel. And after the election, Obama will have a lot more flexibility.

“And after the election, Obama will have a lot more flexibility.”

—— my thoughts exactly!

Video here also on the subject in interview on Greta with Bolton...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Penelopsire: [Not that there is any equivalency...but] no one from US delegation planned to attend Ahmanutjob’s speech. Unless they changed their mind, no one from US was there.
“Over the past couple of days, we’ve seen Mr. Ahmadinejad once again use his trip to the U.N. not to address the legitimate aspirations of the Iranian people but to instead spout paranoid theories and repulsive slurs against Israel,” Erin Pelton, a spokesman for United States U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, said in a statement.
“It’s particularly unfortunate that Mr. Ahmadinejad will have the platform of the U.N. General Assembly on Yom Kippur, which is why the United States has decided not to attend,” Pelton said.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

Apparent excuse for absence today-— Rice declined to go “because the speeches went long today.”

....Another scheduling conflict. lol!

[From the Greta video above] Instead of going to Bibi’s UN speech, Hillary and Susan Rice went to lunch with foreign ministers of 5 permanent members of Security Council.

Only US contingent at UN speech today were the envoy and our Ambassador to Israel.

“There is a very wicked undercurrent going on in our government right now.”

YES there is... “very wicked undercurrent” -— Perfect choice of words.

“They” are becoming even more emboldened-— like “they” were right after the election. One gets the feeling “they” know the outcome of the election, while citizens remain in the dark.

You’re just half right on that.

Right about the “wicked” part.

But it is no longer an “undercurrent”. The actions and the intent behind the actions of this administration regarding Israel and the muslim world are quite overt, and intentionally so.

They want us to know just where they stand.

Yes indeed, and very frightening given the fact that many Americans remain blithely unaware of these troubling developments.

BTW "missing" Netanyahu's speech and refusing to meet with him is much more than an "oversight" or a "schedule conflict": it is sending a statement with potentially huge ramifications. In UN parlance, intentionally avoiding a speech signals the rejection of what the speaker says and stands for.

What I find most frightening is the fact that this administration evidently has learned NOTHING from the Libya fiasco and the collapse of it's much-heralded "Arab spring", and continues full-bore ahead with it's policy of appeasement of Muslim extremism and undercutting the only stable, democratic ally in the region.

The cold hostility this administration exhibits towards Israel is nothing less than breathtaking. Who would have imagined such a sea change could have occurred in our great nation? May God help us!
