I have to go back and retrace my steps to find the right link, but the gist was that Stevens had been invited to Benghazi to attend the opening, (or reopening,) of a hospital. This has not been confirmed.
But there was also another unconfirmed report that he was there because he had received a ‘tip’ on a stash of heavy weapons...which was the same reason the SEALS were there.

Interesting. Neither report makes much sense though when really contemplated. Who attends a hospital opening in the dead of night? Also who sends a diplomat to investigate a weapons cache?
The more likely scenario is that the Obama administration is lying to protect a much bigger secret and not just trying to dodge political fallout. None of this stuff makes sense unless looked at in a bigger context. Obama’s administration is overrun by Muslim brotherhood operatives. Who leaked the details of the safe house in Benghazi?
Obama is deliberately keeping the FBI out of there until the scene is so mucked up and cleaned up they will be unable to do their jobs. What is Obama hiding?
