This video, which is being featured on Drudge, was shot at a protest outside of a Romney campaign rally in Ohio. It appears to have been organized by the SEIU:
Interviewer: You've got an Obama phone?
Obama supporter: Yes! Everybody in Cleveland or minority got a phone. Keep Obama in president, you know? He gave us a phone. He's going to do more.
Interviewer: How'd he give you a phone?
Obama supporter: You sign up if you're on food stamps, you're on Social Security, you've got no income, you're [on] disability.
Interviewer: What's wrong with Romney, again?
Obama supporter: Romney? He sucks. Bad.
Why bother promoting a clip of a lone, particularly distasteful Obama backer? A few reasons:
(1) What's good for the goose, etc. The Left regularly holds the Right responsible for the behavior or words of any individual associated with conservatives who steps out of line. Remember the racist jerk who got tossed out of the RNC? That became a major news story because his actions "reflected" on the convention as a whole. Even when conservatives don't behave badly, liberals accuse us of deplorable acts anyway. The apocryphal "spitting" and "N-word" incident comes to mind. And sometimes Democrats try to leave non-conservatives' brutal crimes at their political opponents' doorstep. Here we have a pro-Obama voter deployed at an astroturf protest put on by a major union with deep, long-standing ties to the president. She was clearly aware of the camera, so her words are fair game.
(2) The Obama campaign and its allies are seizing on Mitt Romney's clumsy and over-broad '47 percent' remarks to paint him as an uncaring, mean-spirited plutocrat. Though he was wrong to use the 47 percent of Americans who pay nothing in income tax as a short-hand rhetorical device to decry a growing culture of government dependency, Romney was absolutely correct that this phenomenon exists. A core constituency of the Democrat Party's base are people who live off the government (ie, taxpayers) and seek to expand the scope of the largesse to which they feel entitled. Note how this individual explains that access to "free" cell phones is simplified and streamlined for people who are already receiving other forms of federal benefits. She seems to believe that cell phones are only the beginning because President Obama will "do more" in a second term. In the fundraiser video, Romney remarks that he has little chance of winning the support of voters who are hooked on federal aid. This voter confirms that sentiment by offering a cogent argument against his candidacy: "He sucks. Bad."
(3) Because this lady happens to be an African American, cynical, race-obsessed liberals will undoubtedly impute "racism" to anyone who highlights this video. The goal is to bully people into ignoring it, for fear of being tagged with one of the ugliest labels in modern society. I'm absolutely sick of that game. The majority of people on federal assistance -- from welfare to food stamps -- are white. This is not about race; the ills of selfishness and entitlement transcend race and ethnicity. It's about the direction of the country and the insidiousness of dependency. We're $16 trillion in debt. Is it really an essential government service to be providing "free" cell phones to people? Our government spent $1.6 billion on this program last year alone -- and it's expanding so recklessly that even a sitting US Senator received a letter informing her that she was eligible for a free government cell phone. Hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries have been shown to be engaged in fraud, applying for and receiving numerous taxpayer-funded phones from multiple carriers. As Europe burns -- literally -- because its citizens are livid that their unsustainable hammock of government benefits is being shredded by fiscal reality, the United States must not continue down that path. But that is President Obama's path. The consequences of his ideology are playing out in the streets of Athens and Madrid as you read this. Are voters, and taxpayers in particular, paying attention?
UPDATE - Proof dispositive that pro-Obama ignorance crosses all demographic boundaries. This Barack backer, who admits to being a know-nothing on international events, does share his opinion that murdered US Ambassador Chris Stevens "had it coming." Revolting:
Obamavoter --Assassinated Libya Ambassador "had it coming"
Added bonus: Mitt Romney's going raise taxes on the middle class! But what if he cuts taxes on the middle class, which his plan actually calls for? Well, that wouldn't help either because...shut up, he's a liar. This is what we're up against. These are Ohio voters.
If they can print all the fiat paper currency they need, do they really need yours to buy votes from these welfare slugs like the stupid bitch in the video? Tax resistance is like putting a bandaid on a dirt covered, open running sore caused by the malignant melanoma just below the surface. Think of the sore as the unbacked fiat currency. And the malignant melanoma? Why, that’s the apathy and abysmal ignorance of an allegedly “free” people who bought into history’s biggest scams because they were too lazy or too stupid to realize that it was the path to their enslavement!
Easily an ad could be made which plays the clip and then shows Americans of all stripes and colors at work such as waitress, road worker, teacher, etc., each one saying, “Obama didn’t pay for your phone, I did, I built that.”... At the end: “Free stuff isn’t free, free stuff is paid for by your friends and neighbors” and they could then all say “Obama doesn’t pay, we do.” Something like this:

Are voters, and taxpayers in particular, paying attention?
Are you suggesting that Romney is going to discontinue the free phone program?
No, this was a 0bummer supporter that had been bussed to a Romney event in Ohio.
Doesn’t take much to keep people enslaved. It’s a shame.
And Biden has the gall to accuse Republicans of wanting to keep blacks “in chains”. Pot calling the kettle black (no pun intended).
We’ve all seen the PSA on TV. The gentle old lady really needs a cellphone for her security. You’re practically in tears over her plight. I must admit that it did get to me. But then we saw the YouTube clip of that SEIU skank, who was groovin’ on the free phone that Obama gave her, and my tears dried up. I drive a 2006 Totota Camry. I’d really like a Honda CRV, but I can’t get Uncle Sugar to spring a mere $30 large to shut me up. These people have GOT to be dumped on 6 Nov 2012, Please God!
My patience with people this stupid is wearing exceedingly thin...
. . or they need that phone in case the Obama campaign needs to reach them to organize and get out the vote, or better yet, social medias impromptu flash mobs to spring up.
In all seriousness, you may have nailed it right there ^^^
My niece works at a pharmacy...She said when the welfare queens come in to pick up their scripts, with their jewlery, and fake nails, they refuse to pay the $1.00 co-pay...
These people are still slaves. And the worst thing about it is that they think they are actually free people. It’s not the color of their skin...it’s the attitude of their hearts and the blindness of their minds.
Are you suggesting he won’t? If you’re not going to vote for Romney (and thereby voting for Obama) will you complain when Obama gets re-elected and you’re forced via your cellphone bill and tax dollars that you’re paying for this, or will you sit down and shut up so as not to be exposed as a hypocrite?
The permanent underclass were the targets of legalized abortion, and it has worked to some extent (especially after “cash for kids” ended in 1996. At the same time, they have to pop out at least one because it brings freebies that aren’t available to lazy piece of crap without one (welfare, food stamps, rent vouchers). I really can’t figure out who would inseminate some of these monsters; the picture is too revolting...
