Muslim-Americans in Michigan called for “deterrent legal measures” to fight Islamophobia in the wake of videos such as the movie trailer that contributed to protests in the Middle East.
“There is a need for deterrent legal measures against those individuals or groups that want to damage relations between people, spread hate and incite violence,” Osama Siblani, Publisher of The Arab American News said in a statement. “It is a need that Americans should seriously consider.”
Sibliani is one of the organizers of a rally in Dearborn, Mich., that will denounce both the video and the deadly terrorist attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Libya. “While we condemn violence against innocent Americans abroad, we equally condemn the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims,” he said in the statement.

The gathering is expected to draw a large crowd of community members and leaders, clergy, and public officials of all persuasions who continue to reject the messages of hate and Islamophobia that have gained momentum, most recently with the production of the provocative and derogatory film “Innocence of Muslims.” The gathering will stress that the rise of Islamophobia is hurting America’s national interests, its image abroad and inciting worldwide violence.

Conservatives rolled over for liberals when it came to taking over our public schools and universities and wiping out Christianity from the public square and accepted it when liberals instituted “hate speech” codes as a means to stifle conservative speech.
Conservatives rolled over when illegal aliens invaded our country by the millions and now call us racists to our faces in our own country when we want our laws to be enforced.
When Muslims (and their liberal enablers) get done destroying our 1st Amendment in the name of protecting the wretched Prophet Mo and furthering that terrorist religion aka totalitarian political theocracy, conservatives will roll over again.

Whenever I hear of someone burning a flag I think back to something I saw a couple of years ago. A "rather large" gentleman wearing a leather jacket with a large American flag on the back. Around it were the words "Try burning this one a**hole!" Love it.
I've never witnessed anyone trying to burn a flag. You know this 'cause I haven't been arrested. You see, I'd celebrate my First Amendment rights and express my feelings for the flag by stamping out the fire - with their face.
Probably not the brightest idea .... you think Americans, who value their free speech, will sit by idly and not go immediately to the internet and really lay on a full assault on the “Prophet”. If they had the brains of a pig or Muslim prophet, they would drop it and let it die of non-interest.
The footage that was here a few months ago about those Christian guys walking around (and getting NO police protection) during a muzzie festival showed me all I needed to know about their religion, their mama's and (if they know who he is) daddy's, and their life view.
I’ve seen the try burning this one.. love it. I think all Americans are sick and tired oh having somebody apologize for us after we had to endure the hate signs, death threats and flag burnings on every network and magazine cover. If we get disrespected on our home front.. we may see another Sept 12th. America is fed up!! THIS HOPE AND CHANGE SUCKS!

Since muslims overwhelmingly support Democrats, I encourage you to put the pursuit of anti-blasphemy laws in the Democrat party platform next election.
In the meantime, I think everyone should ask democrat candidates what their stand is on promoting anti-muslim blaspheme laws.

Why don’t they realize they would be well ahead of me in the line for persecution. As a Christian, I would just pay the tax.
