From the speech:
“Iran’s apocalyptic leaders believe that a medieval holy man will reappear in the wake of a devastating Holy War, thereby ensuring that their brand of radical Islam will rule the earth.
That’s not just what they believe. That’s what is actually guiding their policies and their actions.
Just listen to Ayatollah Rafsanjani who said, I quote: ‘The use of even one nuclear bomb inside Israel will destroy everything, however it would only harm the Islamic world.’
Rafsanjani said: ‘It is not irrational to contemplate such an eventuality.’
Not irrational.
And that’s coming from one of the so-called moderates of Iran. “
I urge everyone to read or watch Netanyahu’s speech. His nation — and the rest of us — are facing a bunch of Islamic nutjobs who truly believe that “Imam Mahdi,” who has been hiding in a well for centuries near the town of Qom (where they’re purifying uranium), will return and establish worldwide Islamic rule once they instigate a Final Battle.
This is not satire. Most of us aren’t into Islamic escatology. No reasonable human would believe it.
But in 1940 they didn’t believe Hitler was exterminating people, either.
“Some five hundred years ago, the printing press helped pry a cloistered Europe out of a dark age. Eventually, ignorance gave way to enlightenment.”
So he compares the Roman Catholic Church with radical muslims. I always knew Netanyahu was an anti-Christian bigot, as well as an anti-muslim one!
It was death to own a Bible.
You can’t be serious.
He didn’t even come close to criticizing Christianity. Read the speech.
Are you suggesting that you prefer illiteracy and life as a serf? That’s how much of the muslim world lives today.
God love and protect Bibi Netanyahu and the land of Israel. As far as I’m concerned, this man is the leader of the free world.
Huh? He said that?
Hmmmm.....Bibi Netanyahu is an "anti-Muslim bigot", huh?
IB4TZ?

Thanks very much for posting the text of his speech.
Prime Minister Netanyahu is the true leader of the free world.
God be with him and Israel.
Praying he will have a true friend in the White House
come January 2013.
“I always knew Netanyahu was an anti-Christian bigot, as well as an anti-muslim one!”
I assume you either listened to Netanyahu’s speech or that you read the text of it.
Did you understand the chart? It was presented for people like you. People who cannot understand written or verbal presentations.
I think if I were you, I would focus on one point at a time and the bomb chart is the most important issue Bibi raised in his speech.
Good luck!
He hasn’t posted in two years and comes out today to say this.
A check of his posting history shows a disturbing pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel stance.
“A check of his posting history shows a disturbing pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel stance.”
Thank you for the information.
Wow, way to find something that is not there because of your preconceived bias.
You belong on DU or Stormfront.
“A check of his posting history shows a disturbing pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel stance.”
Sadly common among a certain schismatic/heretical group of my fellow Roman Catholics -— I call it the “Mel Gibson Denomination of Roman Catholics.”
I was unaware it had anything to do with being Catholic, but for whatever reason, it’s vile. Thanks for your response.

Thanks IsraelBeach.
I am no fan of the Ayatollas but I fail to see the merit of dismissing the Mahdi as a “medieval holy man...”.
Please note that the belief in the 12th imams and his return by shia muslims is identical to the Jewish wait for the Messiah and Christians belief of Judgement day. So Netanyahu’s mocking of this core belief of shia muslims is hypocritical.
Such irreverence will only help to drive Shia around the world to extremists element of the Iranian clerical establishment and is totally counter productive to the security of Israel and regional and world peace.
References of apocalyptic wars are present in the Jewish bible and the new testament. That does not make mocking Judaism and Christianity a good idea.
Heretical, Schismatic, Catholic. Not Catholic.
But yes. It’s a consistent pattern.
