There is his statement against Social Security. His recent comments that for the government to provide healthcare is unconstitutional - thus painting him as believing Medicare and veteran's healthcare programs are illegal. There's his comparison of student loans, a program that thousands of people across the state depend on for financing their kid's education, to stage 3 cancer. His position that the federal government should not be funding student lunches.
In theory, not much. But we're not dealing with theory, we're dealing with an election. And telling the majority of the electorate that you want to do away with their goodies is not a good way to win one.
