Well, at least you had bars between you and the inmates. And then there are the liberal teachers and a constitutional amendment on the ballot enshrining the right to collective bargaining in the state constitution and pressure from the union to “volunteer” to push it. They are taking names of those who “volunteer”. I am against it.

They were only behind bars for the counts, and at nighty-nite time. The rest of the time they were out and about. I worked as a Safety Officer at a psych center before I took the job in Corrections. I saw more action as a Safety Officer than I did as a Corrections Officer. At least in a prison you can lock them up if they misbehave. You can’t do that in school.
