The National Republican Senatorial Committee issued a statement Wednesday clarifying its support for Rep. Todd Akin in the Missouri Senate race

Well then perhaps the NRSC would do well to drop a little note to one of its alumnus, a certain former Republican Missouri Senator John C. Danforth, and ask him to get with the program -- that is if he is still a Republican.
