Pretty sure I read a while back Frist stood to make a lot of money off Obamacare somehow.
Follow the money. Frist’s old man, Thomas Frist, was one of the founders of Hospital Corporation of America(HCA)based in Nashville and which made tons off Medicare/Medicaid. Frist(also a heart surgeon) stepped in afterwsrd and that’s where he made all his money before being elected to the Senate from TN. HCA is now HCAHealthcare and will be in postion to make tons off Obamacare. So, naturally, Frist wants to keep his postion at the governent trough.
