He cannot get the moderate, independent, women, and youth votes that will be required to beat McCaskill

I wonder how many of the 71% of MO voters who voted against Obamacare in 2010 will go towards Akin who VOTED AGAINST IT and wants to repeal Obamacare versus McCaskill who VOTED FOR IT and does not want it repealed. Are MO voters so stupid that they will vote for someone who is inimical to their own interests because the other candidate made a verbal gaffe that has little or no impact on their personal lives?

It's definitely within the realm of possibility.

Scott Brown was originally elected by MA voters to oppose Obamacare. Now that the USSC has weighed in on Obamacare, our final hope of eradicating this hideous albatross is the Congress, so for MA voters to throw away Brown's anti-Obamacare vote is analogous to sinking our last ship.

Yet according to Rasmussen, Fauxcahontas Warren, who supports Obamacare (and is a proven liar, to boot), is even with Brown at 48% (with 3% undecided).

Irrational idiots abound (and not just in Massachusetts).
