They could start by finding out how many American Islamoterrorists have clearances to work on the planes.
My brother used to find union saboteurs had stuffed hammers, bolts and other whatsits into the moving parts of F-15 engines from time to time. The test engineers had to go over the engines very carefully before running tests because of infantile union workers.
...and immediately remove them from all suspicion, freeing up resources to search for the real saboteurs. /S
