For anyone who hasn't seen it,an outstanding film called "Casino" features Dirty Harry himself...or,at least,someone who portrays Dirty Harry.The film,an absolutely true story,is set in a Las Vegas casino and tells of the control that the Mafia had over it and how they used that control.A Nevada State Senator,the Chairman of the State Gaming Commission,is played by Dick Smothers and is portrayed as a *very* corrupt,*very* slimey public office holder.And the funny thing is that in the time period covered in this film Dirty Harry *was* a Nevada state senator and *was* the Chairman of the State Gaming Commission.
See it if you can...and see it again if you haven't seen it in a while.
