It would be nice if Rush or a Romney surrogate were to begin lobbying for an increase in manufacturing jobs by turning the US into a manufacturing magnet. If Congress would exempt all new manufacturers, of any product made in the US, from income taxes for the next 50 years, we could attract those who have left for tax purposes. If current manufacturers were to repatriate jobs, their manufacturing operations would also become exempt.
The increased employment would certainly offset the loss of tax dollars we are non now even collecting. If the US doesn't do it, some state will, but they will poach jobs from other American cities.

no one will pay the wage and benefit costs - especially when union thugs get involved
no one here would pay the price for the goods produced
