Guys, I think you’re missing his backhanded compliment to the current retard-in-chief. “Gifted Politician” is Ryan’s way of saying he’s very good at lying and deceiving as a politician and making people believe it.
I saw that quote as a jab, not a compliment.

47% of Americans as dependent on government, having a "victim" mind-set, and feeling entitled to food, health care and housing. I like Ryan much more than Romney but I'd have to agree with Romney on this statement (maybe not the 47% exactly). Because there are a lot more people with the "victim" mind-set than there should be.
