A hot button issue in the upcoming elections and one of the most contentious topics in the Republican Party is also the subject of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. Bush has started work on a book about immigration and landed a deal with Threshold Editions, a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster, for "Immigration Wars: Forging An American Solution." Threshold announced Wednesday that the book is scheduled for next spring and will be co-authored by conservative attorney and activist Clint Bolick. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Drawing upon history and American ideals, Jeb Bush and Clint Bolick outline a courageous and comprehensive strategy to bridge the partisan divide and set our nation's immigration policy on a just and rational course," Threshold said in a statement. "The book will present a comprehensive solution based on two core principles: Immigration is vital to America's future, fueling its growth, vibrancy and creativity; yet any true and enduring solution must adhere to the rule of the law." The 59-year-old ex-governor has been urging his fellow Republicans to take on a more moderate tone on immigration, saying hard-line policies have led to lost elections. Bush himself was elected twice in a state with a substantial Hispanic population.

Not interested.
Should be a big seller among the illegal alien crowd. Something for them to read while hiding “in the shadows”. Sorry Jeb. I’m not seeing a best seller here.
Milquetoast Republican candidate 2016.
Fail.
I’ll vote Palin though. In a minute. :D
Somebody write a book on how the BUSH females can't make their beds or walk their dogs without an illegal alien cleaning up after them.
Let me write a book about LAZY good for nothing, Republican Texas women who can barely wipe their slothful behinds, much less cook and clean for their own children without a squad of non-English-speaking slaves.
Lazy slatterns. Bar can't cook for her huge brood, so she gets slaves to do it for her, which may explain with GW speaks good Spanish but can't get a sentence in English correct. Laura has to lie around reading novels and can't even take Scottie for a walk. The twins loves them some abortions and same-sex marriages because they so want an evening in Hyannis Port.( Read Lazy Laura's bio if you don't believe me.) Leave us alone. Go away, Bushes.
NO MORE BUSHES
I’ll only read it if he includes a chapter on his entitled, designer clothes smuggling, wife.
Oh. Can’t wait.
Good grief, Mamzelle. Really?
Seems that some in the MSM are wishing for a Jeb Bush 2016 run. F**K THAT!!!! If he’s ever the nominee, I’ll switch to Independent and write off the GOP.
IMHO, if the GOP blows this I agree with Laura Ingraham...shut down the GOP!!! Useless as teets on a bull.
I sense a good chunk of the GOP rank-and-file will revolt in one manor or another.
The only people keeping me in the party are West, Cruz, DeMint and PALIN.
Oh God, what an exciting read that will be. Why not title it: “My fellow GOP’ers are Racists but not me because I lived in Florida and have an Hispanic wife plus it’s tons of votes”.
This should be amusing.
Not very interesting and probably not a very good seller, but it should be amusing.
Well I slept with more Latinas than I care to admit here (lots) and married one...gorgeous but crazy.
