What did he predict with McCain?
After pick of Palin as VP and convention he was bullish for McCain.. But when financial crisis hit and McCain suspended his campaign, he said he was done.
Morris was cheerleading for McCain, but at the end predicted Obama would win. He didn’t get the electoral vote exactly right, though.
Right after the election, he did correctly predict that Obama would be unpopular by 2012, and even by 2010. He also said that the Republicans would regain much of their lost power.
He was widely ridiculed for that, and was called the Worst Pundit in America. But, he was right about 2010. And on balance, Obama is certainly unpopular. We will see what how he does in 2012.
In 2008 he predicted Hillary would be our next President and we could all bank on it! His opinions are worthless.
If I recall he predicted McCain would win but only if he went after Obama on the economy and his votes as a Senator, neither of which he did and instead chose to play nice while Obama hammered him about Bush so McCain lost.
He was very pro McCain and tried to look for a silver lining, but in late October he had Obama 7 points ahead of McCain.
