CNS News: If blacks don't vote, 'snatch' the 'color back,' says Cleaver

Friday, CNS News surfaced a C-SPAN video of Chairman Emanuel Cleaver of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) passionately demanding that African-Americans who don't vote, "ought to give us their color back." The video was taped the evening before when Cleaver was speaking to a CBC forum on the subject of voting rights.
There was no laughter from the audience when Cleaver angrily declared, "They (blacks) aren't worth the color if they don't vote; they ought to give us their color back." Apparently, that wasn't strong enough because Cleaver vehemently added, "Their African-American credentials need to be snatched!"

Examiner is a blog, it’s “writers” are the homeless folks using public computers in libraries.
Don’t the self-defined “Blacks” realize how shallow they are to define themselves by the color of their skin. Whites have advanced beyond that, but Blacks have not and the federal government keeps reinforcing the division of Americans by the color of their skin.
They wouldn’t be doing this if Obama was winning in a walkover. Like the MSM and their polls are saying he is.
Sounds like Mr Cleaver is worried about Balck turnout in Nov.

I keep asking myself if it is possible for a country to go completely insane. It would seem impossible but there are historical precedents. For instance Rome under some emperors.
Maybe France in their revolution, or the USSR or Germany under Hitler.
This nation I believe has gone totally crazy over pro Black racism. It started in the 60s and just kept on building until today. I was noticing today and have noted it before but one can scan the channels on TV and sometimes see nothing but Blacks, and I do mean every channel in my local area.
If one sees a couple, more often than not they are inter-racial with it typically, maybe 90% of the time being a Black man with a White woman.
It has gotten to the point that I really do think it is odd to the point of insanity.
What if they do vote, but vote only for Republicans? Do they still have to give their color back?

From what I understand if one wants to ‘leave’ a biker gang, AFTER the ‘beat down’, his ink, in relation to the club must be removed....
So this could get quite messy.....
Of course, the people that this actually affects, will (probably) NEVER see these comments...etc...

It would be interesting to know how many times Bambi practiced his right to vote prior to his running for any public office. Too busy with the choom gang more than likely.

I think you’re overreacting. All he said is vote, not vote for the black candidate. If Cleaver is referring to the shtruggle blacks had to get their vote counted, I agree with him.
Does that mean they also have to go get a job, get off welfare, and stop having kids out of wedlock? (since that seems to be part of being "authentically black" in Obama's America...)
