If he wins, he will obviously get his revenge. He may even caucus with the Democrats if he’s the swing.
Naah, instead Akin will not tow the GOPe party line.
Akin is not going to caucus with the Dems; but he might join up in the formation of the 3rd Party many of us are seeing as increasingly necessary, as the GOP becomes more and more morally corrupt under the horrendous leadership of Boehner and professional fundraisers and consultants.
He’s too good a man to vote with the ‘Rats. And as to revenge: Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
It will be satiSfaction enough when God gives him a nice victory, and when the day rolls around that the Rs come around with hat in hand, asking for his vote on an issue.
The ‘Rats are baby killers! Akin got INTO this whole swamp by trying to make a pro-life argument....based on info that ONCE WAS TAUGHT IN NURSING SCHOOL!
He won't do that, but safe to say if he wins then Akin doesn't owe the GOP establishment anything.
Never. Akin is one of the most conservative members of Congress—97.24 lifetime ACU rating. He is not a Specter or Jeffords.
He does that, and those various-stripes of Republicans who called for his withdrawal (mind you, not just GOP-e, but conservatives leaders as well like Palin and West) are vindicated.
Under what circumstances? Detail please.
Through 2011, Akin's 11-year ACU rating was 97. I would suggest he's not likely to caucus with the Dims.
There’s no way that a staunch social conservative like Akin would consort with the godless Dems.
