I would imagine that there's a reason for the pics depicting SS troops. The SS documented everything they did, while the Wehrmacht, not so much. The pics in the article are from NAZI archives. The tapes tell the story.

not disputing the story, just saying the pic's i referenced are not necessarily German troops...
they could be Italian or local troops etc. as many of the local troops like the Chetniks were more than happy to slaughter their neighbors given the chance when the time came
