Who says crime doesnt pay?
Certainly not ex-Sen. Jim Marzilli, D-Arlington, the perv in the Prius, the lewd and lascivious limousine liberal.
Heres a moonbats moonbat, bagged for accosting four women in Lowell while sitting on a park bench somebody cue the opening bars of Aqualung and now at age 54, the solon emeritus begins collecting a $14,000-a-year state pension.
Not to mention a lump-sum check in November for about $56,000 to make up for when the commonwealth wasnt sending him his monthly kiss in the mail.
It was 2008. He was the chairman of the Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development. Thats right, tourism come to the Bay State and someone will flash you. So he drives to Lowell for an open house.
Thats open house, senator, not open raincoat.
He parked himself on the park bench give me the Aqualung again and began making obscene comments to immigrant women walking by. He asked a disabled old lady if she was wearing underwear. He informed a younger woman her butt is so perfect.
Somewhere Sal DiMasi is thinking to himself, If only Id told the Cognos software salesman that he had a perfect butt. ...
I spoke to a guy yesterday who witnessed the police chase that ensued. He was leaving the nearby parking garage and saw someone who looked like a madman being chased by four Lowell cops.
As he ran by the car I asked him, Did you steal something? the guy said. And he just laughed at me and kept running.
A few moments later the cops wrestled him to the ground. They asked him his name and he said, Marty Walsh. Thats a rep from Dorchester.
Its all very confusing. I thought the Republicans were supposed to be waging the War on Women. And after he drove to Lowell that day, did this sicko put in for his daily expense, the per diem?
Or would that be, the perv diem?
Marzilli never returned to the State House. His lawyer said he was checking into McLean Hospital. This was shortly before he was spotted in Germany at Oktoberfest.
He ended up pleading guilty to sufficient facts and the case was continued without a finding. Even though he did a short bit at Billerica, the wannabe Weiner doesnt have to register as a sex offender.
Now he wants to jack his pension up to $26,000 under the since-repealed termination allowance. If he wins, and dont bet against it, hell be looking for another lump-sum payment of $48,000, plus the $2,200 a month.
His lawyer, by the way, said hes a superb ... barbecue master.
Maybe he can open a hot dog stand.
