AFP - The Libyan authorities said late Saturday they had decided to dissolve all militias and armed groups that did not come under State authority.

The move, a day after Benghazi residents rebelled against the militias in violence that killed at least 11 people and wounded over 70, was announced by Mohammed al-Megaryef, head of the national assembly, in the eastern city.

No possible offense taken here. I was the first one to make a joke about it. Since 9-11-01 I lost all restraint and all care about what anyone thinks about what I think about Muslims. I will probably live my life out without softening my opinion on that and see no change at all in them to even give me a reason to try to.

A culture that celebrates raging murderous psychosis is deserving of no respect other than the respect of taking them as a serious threat.

I stand at attention and pay a smart salute to each of them. From those that spent many tours in Iraq and Afghanistan in sand holes, some at basis where they could actually lay their heads upon a pillow or at least a barren cot in some dirty stinky building along side say a filthy canal full of loads, and other filth, etc..
They serve with honor, and often much duress. So many American seem to not have a sense of what so many of them had to go through.
