Don’t see where in the Bible it states there is a higher standard for prophets than for patriarchs or kings.

Both David and Solomon are traditionally counted as being authors of significant parts of the Bible.

My point is that Mohammed’s polygamy was traditional to the middle east, particularly for kings, which he was. It was not at the time considered a moral failing.
