“Gasoline Prices More than Double Under Obama: $1.84 to $3.85 (Where’s the MSM on this one?)”

Haven’t you heard? The President just can’t do much regarding gas prices...

(Never mind that when Bush was President he was directly responsible for every small fluctuation!)

The MSM is unabashedly a part of the 0 campaign, they need to be boycotted and put out of business. It’s outrageous.

People are driving less.

On my daily commute this last week we have had thre major rain storms that came through, but still I see people riding bikes, with flashing red LED lights and miniature HID headlights, riding through the rain at 4am.

America was built on wheels, the higher fuel gets the less the wheels will roll.

Any day now I expect to see carts with donkies gathered behind the supermarkets delivering goods, or school buses being pulled by copies of the Budweiser horse team.

2016 the movie states that Americans real wealth has gone down 40%...so if you wown a house worth $200,000 in 2007, it is now worth $120,000. Thanks, ZERO.

Obama and his merry band of greenies think that gasoline should be double the price it is now.

When Bush was president mediabots staked out gas stations early in the morning, waiting breathlessly for the sign to change from “3 something” to “4 something.”
Now that the Great Redistributionist is in power, they pretend they don’t see that gas is over $4.

It’s deliberate and intentional.

Justice would be served if Democrats wouldn’t have the money for gas to get to the polls.

If Romney replaced Obama, everyone would be better off by getting gas prices down even by just $1 per gallon.

They don’t buy gas. They live in the northeastern corridor and travel by cab, train or plane.

Gas prices could double again and they’d barely notice.

One possible reason is that $1.84 gas in January 2009 was a bit of an abberation. Throughout much of 2008, gas prices were about where they are now. They collapsed during the financial crisis in the fall, as fears of a global recession slashed demand for oil (oil/gas prices are often counter-cyclical, for that very reason). As that acute crisis ended-replaced by the stagnant near-recession caused/perpetuated by Obama’s policies-the low prices from the peak of the crisis naturally rose. I don’t think that accounts for all of the increase, and there is plenty of room to criticize Obama on this issue (like all issues), but the end of the acute financial crisis of 2008/2009 accounts for at least some of the “doubling” of prices.

As much as I hate this administration, that’s a lie. Gas was about the same as it is now. I made the kids ride the school bus when gas hit $2.50 so that was about 8 years ago. When Katrina hit, gas rose to nearly $4. Yesterday, it was $3.37.
