I also would not be surprised to learn in the future - that what happened to the Ambassador in Libya was an internal hit, a set-up, a black op, and Obama knew it. Thats why he could go nightie night in the midst of an attack on a U.S. Embassy.

I contend it’s to justify the new Executive Order he’s going to sign that Big Sis confirmed yesterday - that will give Obama sweeping power over the internet.
Contract a hit via Jihadists on the Ambassador - blame free speech and the internet - announce a decree that the internet will be regulated and controlled by Obama, for national security.

During the McCain vs. Obummer 2008 selection , the Democratic party observed , first hand , the influence of the internet and electronic media. It was used not only for propoganda , but also for ‘meet-ups’ and organizing his political supporters . Obummer and company saw the value and usefulness of the internet, and social media.
Here we are , 10 days after the State Department debacle at Benghazi, and we had more information the day after the incident than the State Department has ... even now ! We know that it was pre-planned (with sources), how effective and who was there(with photos), and even one-way communications with the victims ( Jabber) ... AS IT WAS HAPPENING !
This information is available to us since the internet is free (from Government intervention) now .
Immagine what the internet would be like with government control ( think China), intervention (like Iran) ,or outright censorship ( Google , NSA , Carnivore, etc.)
Give government control over the internet and all data will be subject to the government ; we don’t need to enshrine a new Czar or a minister of Propaganda .
The internet is our only free voice .
Access to a governemnt free internet is not guarenteed by the Bill Of Rights , or the Constitution .
We get first hand information from sources without interference.
Imagine if we had to rely on lamestream media as our ONLY choice for information (90% biased); without internet , we might actually believe the dribble that the State Department is spewing that ‘the movie’ caused this Bengazi attack . Here it is 10 days later, and the Secretary of State , and the State Department still haven’t a clue !!

I think your scenario is correct. (F&F 2.0: v.1.0 was to do away with the 2nd Amendment and 2.0 to do away with the 1st.) It had to be an inside job because too much about the consulate and “safe house” was known. The question still remains, though, why Amb. Stevens and not some other ambassador in another ME country? Why him? Did he know too much - about something?
