The more we learn about what happened in Benghazi, the clearer things become.

Two U.S. intelligence officials told The Daily Beast that the intelligence community is currently analyzing an intercept between a Libyan politician whose sympathies are with al Qaeda and the Libyan militia known as the February 17 Brigade—which had been charged with providing local security to the consulate. In the intercept, the Libyan politician apparently asks an officer in the brigade to have his men stand down for a pending attack—another piece of evidence implying the violence was planned in advance.

The media are SO complicit in this coverup of a serious failure of the Zero administration. The US is now a laughingstock overseas and is seen as weak and indecisive. Very dangerous position to be in, but the media don't care, they will sacrifice everything for Zero's re-election, including the downfall of the US.

Because of them, most Americans just do not know how precarious our situation is (and, sadly enough, there are way too many who, if they knew, still wouldn't care).

Stevens, like Clinton and Obama, made the hopes of Islamists his own and they repaid him for it, just as Afghans repaid America for supporting them against the Soviet Union, as Lebanon and Somalia repaid America’s peacekeeping efforts by killing American troops and on down the litany of gratitude in bombs and bullets that have come America’s way from the Muslim world.

Christopher Stevens was, rumor has it, a fixture in the Chicago gay scene (yes, yes...apologies to his wife and children).

Also, it is rumored that Stevens was a CIA operative.
