I suspect that something is right both with Texas and with the Bush family. We lived in San Antonio for three years and think the area around Alpine looked like a place we could settle in. However, we ended up on a working ranch in southern AZ. Long live Texas.

Alpine? It’s a very different place, Nice and Quite. Coming from Houston its a breath of fresh air.

Texas is nice, although living at Ft. Hood for 2 years can make the state seem like a place one would not soon want to return to, but it is better than Ft. Polk. Retiring to Sierra Vista, AZ, is high on my list. much nicer at Ft. Huachuca than Ft. Hood.
