I don’t know. I’ve gotten used to early voting in Texas from the 90s. Some tuesdays are extremely busy when I wouldn’t have had time to vote so I was thankful I could vote early in those years.

Being "used" to voting early has only occurred because people were offered this option. We need one-day voting, with strict controls. It's much harder to control when spread out over many weeks.

If voting were held on Election Day, as it used to, people who care would find the time to rearrange their busy lives to spend a few minutes, maybe half an hour, at the voting booth. It's virtually nothing to ask.
