He’s waiting for the debates. If Romney kills Obama during the debates, which seems likely as Obama has done little to prepare for them, while Romney has done nothing but prepare for them. He will then spend the entire month of October doing ad blitzes to deliver the coup de grace.
The Democrats have been doing what you are suggesting, ever since it was likely that Romney was going to win the nomination, and it has had little effect of pushing Obama over the top.
People are generally most affected by political adscduring the last two weeks of a campaign.
The debates are so watered down with talking points that they are relegated to impotence (The whole/current set up btw, not debates in general). I just hope an October blitz happens (Which I am expecting).
I recently spent 6 months living in Florida and all I saw were Obama ads ad nausea. When I got back to Texas I was relieved to be away from a "battle ground" State but even in Texas I am getting pesky Obama ads non stop.
Obama's disingenuous ads can prove effective for those only getting info from the alphabet networks.
Just hope Romney's team steps up to the plate and swing for home runs; Obama's Presidency sure has lobbed a lot of floaters waiting to be crushed out of the park.
