My take is that if this goes down in a bad way, liberals will just take us out and shoot us. They hate traditional Americans that much... But just to be on the safe side, what is the 'hair-breadth line'....
That's a pretty easy sentence to write, but the actual implementation may get a little hairy.
I certainly don't intend to dig my own grave, and stand there while someone shoots me in the back of the head...
The 20th century showed us what THAT was like. They wanna kill me, THEY can dig my grave. And not expect for me to stand still for the coup de poing.

When you look the devil in the eye through a human he has co-opted and defuse or otherwise de-escalate the situation.
Either one of you is ready to jump and you don’t quite go there.
I offer a way out short of that, if I can, but don’t capitulate or we no longer control the prison. You only establish a feel for the line by having crossed it.
Easier said than done as the folks they aim to shoot in the head are in fact armed & willing to shoot back with a passion & with skill.
