RE “
The House on Wednesday passed Republicans own version of the Buffett Rule, which allows wealthy Americans to voluntarily pony up to reduce the deficit.”
YES, YES, YES,
Many months ago I recommended here that they do this, and it wasn't even my original idea.
I still remember Rush on his TV show 1993 or 1994 telling us that Gov Huckabee did this in AK.
I thought it was smart then and now. Watch and see how Dems in congress react,
I would have called it the "The Buffet rule contribution to reduce the Deficit" Act.

I would have called it the "The Buffet rule contribution to reduce the Deficit" Act. Funny thing is, there are 403 Billionaires in the US, with a total worth of about $1.3 Trillion.
In other words, their entire WORTH, not income, wouldn't even match THIS YEARS deficit.

...allows wealthy Americans to voluntarily pony up to reduce the deficit. I'd love to see a report on how many of them actually contribute a dime... my guess? Not many..
