Ok lets look at the facts.
Crops that are considered as GMO’s have been around roughly 10 years? That of course would prove right away there is no connection to variations (if they do exist)on lifespans in different countries.
I just get cranky seeing misinformation/lack of information
spread about agriculture.
It's the same with global warming. People get sucked into theories about things with misinformation that is spread; and then don't take the time to figure out the science behind it. And to really use good scientific skepticism to question if something is true or false.
Actually, they been around for commercial consumption for 17 years, being on sale beginning in 1995. One thing I laugh about is all the whinging about GM tomatoes...I don’t think there are any on the market. Once there was the âFlavor-Saverâ or some name like that, that stayed fresh and wouldn’t rot...but the problem was that it didn’t taste that great, and was a commercial failure. As far as I know, there haven’t been any GM tomatoes on the market for over 10 years.
I think when it comes to vegetables what matters is “time to market”, so that is why the local farmers’ markets and roadside stands always have the best tasting vegetables, especially with tomatoes and corn.
