Getting killed on AZ roads is not a hard thing to do. Higher speeds, sandy shoulders and a momentary lapse in attention and you are doing endos.

But even living here, knowing this and having seen it happen a couple times right in front of me, I still have to wonder if he didn’t have ‘help’.

And that’s a sad thing to have reason to think.

If it had happened here in the county, I might just barely agree with you.

It happened up in northern AZ on a dirt/gravel Forest Service road while he was travelling to meet up with family for a hunting weekend.

It happened overnight, so fatigue and/or inattention could easily be the reason for the accident. However, that’s just speculation. The accident is under investigation.
