You claimed Romney was a threat to start taxing social security which would hurt a lot of people.

Yes, you DID.

All of that is false and based on false premises.

He has not, and won’t, propose to start taxing something that is already taxable (duh).

What he said was that if you don’t pay income taxes now, you probably won’t be drawn to his proposal to CUT TAXES, because you already don’t pay any taxes.

That’s about the size of the whole kerfluffle.

Why come here and pointlessly frighten people about Mitt Romney supposedly going to start taxing their social security????

That gives aid and comfort to the Left, the Media, and the Democrats.

Oh, sorry, in that last sentence I repeated myself three times.

"Why come here and frighten people"

I'm not frightening people, I'm pointing out reality.

The govt needs more revenue and they will get it.

There is no way around it. If they are going to go after the 47 % that don't pay taxes they have to tax the old people.

Sure, they may try something else. A $20 per ton tax on carbon won't show up on your tax bill but you will still pay it and the rich people like that because it is a regressive tax. They could put $3 pr bottle tax on booze and the rich people would like that because it is regressive.
