I am not sure how accurate the translation is but this video has English subtitles and places the Allahu Akbar statement in context. The subtitles clarify what a newsprint story cannot--the timing of the spoken words.
The second Abeena30 video is a touching memorial for Ambassador Stevens. It should autoplay right after the subtitled rescue attempt video.

I just posted a new article which includes a link to an updated video that shows that one of the Libyans checked Ambassador Stevens pulse after they got him out of the building. It is the same as the original video with some new footage.
One example of the deep, irrational savagery at the heart of Islam.
So what?
Still like to know why you keep posting this and what you are trying to accomplish?
If you think you will illicit any sympathy here for those raging, lunatics in that mob simply because someone "checked his pulse," you are at the wrong place.
That proves nothing other than this person probably just wanted to make sure the Ambassador was dead.
the overseas news has about the local Libyans trying to save and evacuate the Americans, but not the whole story.
This hit was to embarass the local government who is pro American, but I am hoping it backfires, because most Libyans are also pro American.
One Libyan group got them out of the consulate and to the “safe house” only to have the safe house hit with mortar, meaning the bad guys knew exactly where it was. They also helped the Americans who helicoptered there to help get them out.
The bad news is that they knew there were some anti American radicals there, the local government heard rumors that attacks might occur, but the Ambassador went anyway on 911...the other bad news is that the ambassador didn’t have good security with him. that was Hillary and the State Department’s decision, and that is why Obama is trying to pretend he didn’t do anything wrong.
And why did they leave him behind? The initial story is that the fire and smoke were too bad to find him (in the “safe room”) which is possible if there was a major fire and the chaos meant trying to find him might have caused more deaths. I’ll leave that one for more details, and the opinion of a firefighter. I doubt they could have determined he was dead ...it’s hard to do in the dark.
Lies newb.

Thanks for the ping to an update. I hit the sack just after posting my placemarker so I would have missed it. Pay no attention to the ankle biters here.
Interesting, thanks.
Anyone who can confirm?

I don’t think so.
We should talk but I am too new to do private messages. Not sure when I will be eligible to do that or if I will even survive that long here.
there is a mail box. But you should have a thick skin to post on FR...lots of us stay with FR because we find stuff that we miss elsewhere, but like anything else, it’s full of it’s share of trolls.
There is a major scandal out about the lack of people to defend the ambassador, and that the SEALS doing research there (i.e. spooks) had to defend him. Why did a guy tell “Wired” that they would be attacked two hours before the attack started, yet the state department kept insisting it wasn’t pre planned? So how did they lose his body? Who released news of the safe house, so that the bad guys knew where to target the mortars? And why no news of the local pro American militia’s part in the rescue, the fact that American marines or military helicopted in, or that there was over 30 to rescue, not the expected 10 people.
I figure that if the crowd who brought out the ambassador were angry, they would have beheaded him. Instead some of them quickly took him to the hospital. so where is the time line?
The stories on the European news is completely different from what I am reading in the US news...don’t know about the TV: I live overseas. And I am not an expert on the middle east, except for relatives who tell me about working in Saudi and kuwait.
