All that, and still when people hear the words Carter’s kid, they think of Amy.
The three boys were born between 1947 and 1952 and were grown and out on their own by the time Carter was sworn in as President in Jan. 1977. Amy was 10 years old at the time so she was the one romping around the WH and grounds.
