I agree, perhaps this was their October surprise which they needed now with the middle east in such turmoil.

He can turn this around and say his ideas and policies will benefit some of the 47% to pull themselves out of poverty and reap the rewards that he foresees for this country if we curtail spending and make sacrifices. All may not be lost if he gets tough and stops walking on eggshells! BS doesn't work, so why not try the truth.

An uber-lib friend of mine excitedly called me last night saying that the internet was “on fire” with people - including Bloomberg’s media outfit - that this was Romney’s death knell. “How is he going to get the swing voters after this?” I told him that 1) It’s true what Romney said, and 2) That the swing voters are going to vote their pocketbooks and 401Ks. I don’t think this is going to change anything...but man, was he happy.

They probably have more of these distraction tactics planned. I also think they either planned or assisted in the mideast turmoil distraction but not the libyan assassination and now they have to cover that one up. We are witnessing industrial strength chicago politics in action here.

Romney will get press coverage because if this so-called gaffe. He should use that not to defend so much but attack obama as responsible for people out of work. Also use it to ask if obama really wants to let a bklind terrorist go free?
