“The point was many people work, but don’t earn enough to pay fed taxes.”

The problem is that those people get to vote to get money FROM the government. My son works. He doesn’t have much. Last year, he got thousands in EITC. I told him to consider it a transfer from me to him, with the feds taking a cut for administration.

But he gets to vote to RECEIVE the EITC. His ‘tax refund’ was much greater than his tax payments. His every incentive, other than his upbringing, is to continue to vote for those who will hand him cash. My cash.

It is theft under the guise of public policy.

Should we stop those who don't earn enough working, from voting?

Are all low income employees receiving government assistance?

Should the working poor be made to pay fed taxes?
