Apparently it's not true- the strip clubs down here in Tampa were all upset because after going through all the trouble of getting elephant-themed bar knapkins and making drink recipes with conservative sounding names, they had no uptick in business. If anything it went down.

Their hopeful efforts were all the news before the convention - which I thought was rather odd- and then, when they didn't get the expected bump the stories of Republicans partying hard like Democrats kind of died.

I think the only folks who saw a boost were the hotels and the cigar shops.
