Just like the Eastern Marxists ( i.e. Boxer and Pelosi, et.al) did to California. But they are moving eastward because their nests here in California are full of their own sH!t!
The urban black populations were thriving and starting to develop a significant middle class, when they were carpet bombed by a combination of cynical Democrat politicians looking to buy votes, white do gooders looking to ease their guilt, and devious black political wannabes who saw the opportunity to gain political power (a la Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson) by creating a permanent black underclass. Many poor blacks were seduced by the promise of a better life and just ended up addicted to welfare and food stamps. As the welfare class increased in size, crime and drug addiction grew along with it. This initially chased away white lower and middle class neighbours and in the last 20 years has also chased away the middle class blacks who (in spite of their slavish loyalty to the Democrats) don’t want to live in a crime ridden hell-hole any more than middle class whites, asians or hispanics.
