What I do not get in the age of cell phones and instant videos how they thought pictures would not surface of the reality on the ground that night. I can see why they want control of the internet so badly.

I am waiting for that EO, this is the perfect cover and there was also the take-down of GoDaddy a week or two ago. Inch by inch they squeeze away our freedoms.
It is also even more curious that the Obama Administration was in complete synch with the spokesmen for the protesters that this was all about some stupid youtube video and was even more in synch with the Egyptian leaders demand that free speech that offends the Muslim world must be outlawed and those that say things to offend Muslims must be punished.
BTW the producer of the video has been arrested at the direction of the Obama Administration.
All this is happening, coincidentally, right about the time the time a Muslim pressure group is trying to force a law through the United Nations making it a crime to insult Islam.
And all nicely timed to happen right before a major US Presidential election and at a time where Israel seems to gearing up to try to destroy as much of Iran's Nuclear weapons production capability as they can
Funny how these things just seem to happen.
A cynical person might suggest that all of the chaos in the last week was part of a larger, coordinated plan unfolding to further an agenda and our leaders were either being badly played or they were playing along.
Good thing I am not a cynical person, because if I were I'd be very concerned about what we have seen happen in the last few days.
