What is also very concerning & disturbing is that they (Islamic extremists) or whatever you may want to call them, have a global network.

On Saturday, there were riots in Sydney's central business district (CBD) close to the US Consulate. According to media reports - here - some 400 "Islamists" were contacted by text messages & via "social media" to protest in the middle of Sydney! The excuse --> Anti-Islam film produced several months ago in California!

More disturbing was that a child was carrying a placard which said "Behead all those who insult the prophet"!! Notice I said Sydney, Australia, not Cairo, Tunisia or Libya.

This naturally raises lots of questions/issues at least here in Australia. For example, should we allow this sort of hatred under the banner of free speech? What are these people doing here, should they be allowed to be here? They won't change their behavior, even as they were subdued temporarily by the police. They are essentially loose canons.

Personally I would be very partisan, ideological and politically incorrect and say that it’s time to re-visit those gun control laws.

I saw they were rioting in Sydney earlier today and was surprised.

I seem to remember a couple or so years ago they were cracking down on the Muslim problem in Australia.

This is not a bit new.
Of course they have a global network. That was apparent a decade ago.
The whole thing was, even ten years ago, run out of global jihadi websites, chat groups, etc. Doubtless they are more sophisticated now.
Afghan AQ camps had recruits from everywhere.
They have representatives in mosques around the world. The official appointments at many of these mosques were skewed to people affiliated with the extremists, because of their foreign (Saudi) funding.
