Big time popular with young people. We've completely lost the gay marriage part of the culture war when it comes to the younger generations.
I run into a lot of relatively non partisan university grads at my company and it is shocking how many of them think legalizing gay marriage is an urgent national issue. That issue is cited often as a reason not to vote for Republicans. These are mush heads that know nothing of how free markets and economies work, but they've been very successfully brainwashed by the entertainment establishment to not only accept, but to actively support, gay marriage.
Unfortunately you’re right. A couple generations of kids have been left to be raised by Hollywood values. It’s mind numbing talking to young people who have blended what they see on TV & movies into their generalizations about reality.
