There is no justification for putting our personnel in an "interim" facility that lacked proper security. There were about 30 Americans assigned to the Consulate. They should not have been there period without adequate security.

And in the months leading up to this attack, there were significant attacks against Western installations in Benghazi including an attack against the UK ambassador who was visiting in June, the Red Cross building, and an IED against our consulate. The UK closed down its consulate after the attack on their ambassador. For me, this is the greatest vulnerability Obama has and Romney should exploit it.

Plus it it time to drop the PC crap and adjust to the cultural realities of the Middle East. Quit appointing women as Secretary of State. It is pure folly to send a female to represent the US in a region where women have yet to be elevated past the status of chattel.
