Here's my point. The story that matters most here is not that a presumed homosexual was murdered and raped on Tuesday, as vile and evil as that is.

The story on which we must focus if we are to survive is that there was a planned, coordinated attack on the anniversary of 9/11/01, and that the current administration sides with those who planned and coordinated that attack.

In that you are correct and will find no disagreement from me. I do, however, disagree with you that this particular aspect should be somehow shunned. It's pertinent. The whole picture will not come into focus if you're limiting yourself to just part of it. State is rife with militant feminists and homosexuals, it's common knowledge in DC. This colors their thinking to such degree that they are making cannon fodder of their own. This does not help matters at all in the Middle East, it only further inflames anti-American sentiment, and they not only just don't care but actively continue to provoke these countries with the diplomatic corps, the exact opposite of the intended purpose of diplomacy. They've always been expendable and now we're seeing the rot, the ugly truth laid bare. Did this man "deserve" this, to suffer a horrible death at the hands of barbarians who violated him repeatedly before and after death? No, no one "deserves" such a thing. But, he was placed there for ideological reasons and just this sort of outcome was inevitable.
