We are not "missing the point". The point is that Obama is incompetent and sides with the muslim terrorists. Focusing on this issue is a distraction, and disrespectful to Ambassador Stevens' ultimate sacrifice.

They killed him for being American, not for being gay. I get the point, but for the author to seek verification of something almost obvious in order to question his appointment (politicize) is pathetic. Anyone notice that the ambassador to egypt is female? Muslims don’t respect women, yet there she is. Wise? No. Deserving of death? No.
